Chef Joe Lam's Background


Joe Lam's passion of Culinary World Exploring began with delicate palate training given by her mother since very young age.

From a little pilot light to her burning desire of learning this fine art, she entered George Brown College on year 2003. Graduated with honour from Chef Training and Food & Nutrition Management, Joe has been involved in different aspect of the amazing culinary world.

Started from cooking in Four Seasons Hotel in a summer, Joe discovered the joy of decorating plates and show pieces. Her potential was being quickly unveiled by her mentor: Chef Sara Harrel, the vice president of Escoffier Society of Toronto. From there, Chef Harrel led Joe into food styling and recipes development. Joe continues to be a protege of Chef Harrel, and her culinary exposure keeps on expanding.

Joe's nutritional knowledge has also led her into health care menu consulting and senior dining coordinating. Her personal chefing service provides palate pleasing meals tailors to each client's individual nutritional and dietary request. She also provides on suite catering, culinary event planning, and cooking class services.
